:snow_laug hi
we are due to move above a pub in jan.
i am trying to get some online quotes for contents insurance, but struggling because it isn't a house etc.
it is a 2 bed flat, but i don't know whether to put that or not. my major concern being that the pub and flat are only seperated by an internal door.
anyone had experience of this, or can offer any advice??

Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.
wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!

The pub itself will be insured on a commercial package policy - these have names like Innshield or Pubshield. Normally you can add the tenant managers personal possessions onto these policies.
Be warned though that the cover is not as generous as you may find on a normal household policy. It should offer new for old cover but is unlikely to offer full accidental damage cover or cover for possesions away from the home - i.e. your mobile phone or Ipod.
If your pub is one of the large chains - e.g. weatherspoons, S&N etc, see if they operate a special scheme for their managers.0 -
thanks for that.
