Diamond Ring

Hey,

I have an Platinum Diamond Ring that I'm thinking of selling. I've no idea how to get the best price. I've been to a few local Jewellery shops and although they all said it was a ncie piece they all said they only bought antique pieces and mine is modern.

I'm not sure of carats or clarity or even size (although obviously this is fairly easy to find out) so I don't think I know enough to sell on ebay!

I live in Devon and none of the Jewellers I went to were very keen to help me!!

Any ideas?

I think if the jewellers weren't interested then it is either a cheaper end piece or there is something about it that suggests resale will be difficult.

I agree with TonyMMM try a bricks and mortar auction house, they will advise you on a price and a reserve. Make sure you ask about fees though before you hand it over.
