Redundancy Terms and Age Discrimination
BBB.
Hi There. It is probable there will be redundancies at my company after Sept. They are looking to be offering terms of redundancy of 2 weeks for every year capped at 13 years. It will be subject to a compromise agreement. The total amount paid will be above statutory (just in some cases). Could this be classed as age discrimination?
Many thanks

Ok Thanks for the quick reply I only asked because it seems unfair on those with 30 years service where the last 17 do not count0
