Moving from Income support to JSA???

    Yeah it was only a theory anyway, i'm still saving really and waiting for share options to emerge later in the year for a decent deposit.

    Thanks for your help guys, she's applied for a few jobs last night which hopefully should see her in work soon, I think even with the housing benefit and JSA (about £800 total for the month) by the time rent and rates was deducted out of that and then food and car insurance she wouldn't be able to manage.

    Does make me wander how some people manage, though i'm obviously no expert on the benefits system.

    Yes well the last tenant has just moved out so it was only by chance she found out it was available, the friend is a mortgage adviser and works through the estate agents so the agents mentioned it to her when she went in.
