Yes I had similar problems too.0

I did the free trial of Blockbuster back in May 2006, Didn't have that problem.
I then joined Lovefilm for 3 months, then My Movie Stream but have gone back to Blockbuster because if your not only after a free trial but plan to use the service, they are the best. Particually if you want new releases.0 -
If anyone wants this service, try Screen Select. I cancelled my membership with them because they screwed up a couple of times (down to a warehouse fire), and I wasn't really using it, but for many months, had perfect service."We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time"
"Reach for the Sky, 'cause tomorrow may never come"0 -
i done the free trial back last summer and never had a problem either0

Screen Select are run by Lovefilm. Lovefilm are rubbish.
Blockbuster is by far the best rental service around. Their customer service dept. reply to emails promptly and sort things out quickly. No I don't work for them - I'm a teacher.
Free trials are OK unless you get too greedy and try to get too much for nothing - then they get ya! You don't need me to tell you what the moral of that is.....................Don't grow up. Its a trap!
Peace, love and labradors!0 -

i understand your frustration but if you argued your case strong enough then i'm sure they would have offered you something.
all dvd rental comp's say there are no refund's to try an deter you. keep on at them enough and refuse any reinstaing offer and you will get a refund.
if i was able to get lovefilm to cave i shouldnt imagine you'd have that much of a problem with blockbuster0 -
Personally, having been scammed by Lovefilm and Blockbuster both in similair manner, we use Amazon. I have even had DVDS get lost by RM, and they just had me tick the box "I sent these in over x days ago" and immediately sent out my next dvds w/o any hassle.
We also get 10% off ANY DVds they buy from them (great for the big clearance sales or at when it is over £15 so del is free anyhoo)budget meals can be good meals0 -
yep, i nearly got scammed by blockbusters too whilst on the trial period. however for them to change the t&c's whilst i was renting was unjust so i complained and got a refund back, i believe there was an email sent about how the return policy had been changed from 28 to 7 days.0
