Duasl fuel range cookers

I want to buy a 90cm range cooker - but a friend says avoid the Dual Fuel (elec and gas)ones and just buy a gas one which is far better
Anyone confirm that dual fuel is not worth having?

    I dont know why your friend said dont buy dual fuel, because I have had my rangemaster for 6 yrs now and its brilliant, its the best cooker ive ever owned and very smart too ..............touch wood but no problems with mine....
