You need a 325 sport (LSD), M3 or rare import 320iS to do proper drifting. The 135BHP is enough to be able to poke the back end on roundabouts and sweeping bends, in the wet even more so.
I ordered all the parts to renew the gear linkage today, including Z3 gear stick because it's gives a quicker shift.
    Happy chappy
  • Thought as much. A mate of mine had an old Y reg 525 he used to drift but he'd welded diff, not perfect for a daily driver lol.
With those brakes, suspension, diff and shift mods I bet you can suprise all sorts on the bends :) It'll all be good training for the kit car when you get it, in the wet you sometimes get no warning whatsoever of the back snapping out and the short wheelbase means you have to be on the ball to stop it swapping ends lol
