Received my panel date for Fostering yesterday-18th July eeeek! Very excited as we have a 3month old ready to be placed with us, we just need the go ahead! That'll give us a few extra pennies a month too but will probably be cancelled out by the payments for the new 7 seater car we have to buy...
Good luck!!! I went through a similar process a few months ago when trying to gain custody of my nephew (he was taken into care at birth) and it can be quite overwhelming sometimes. It's lovely to see an end in sight though isn't it? Fingers crossed the baby will be with you soon.
Well I banned myself from the MSE forums for a couple of days as I really needed to get some work done. Luckily it didn't take as long as I thought it would so I'm back on track and have almost finished.
I've only got 70p to add (NUS discount), and am going away for a few days next week, so although I appear to be ahead of target now, I know I'm actually a bit behind as I need to account for the days away.
Oh yeah, and we kept the Xbox.
Went out and bought a few games, one of them was a collection of old Sega Master System/Mega Drive games, which included Streets of Rage! I loved that game when I was a kid!!! Wasted waayyyy too many hours 'down memory lane'.

Just a couple of bits to add - £10 voucher from valued opinions and £5x2 from Halifax. I really do keep meaning to change to First Direct but haven't got round to it yet.0

£4.20 to add from eBay items posted today. Still waiting for payment for one and another item sold earlier. I'll update once I've worked out how much I made after fees and postage for those two items.0
