Mystery bank account

Hello,

I'm having problems accessing one of my bank accounts.

I have a flexible mortgage, I have a halifax savings account into which I pay monthly. At the end of the year a company called "the flexible mortgage company" transfer over the balance to pay of the capital.

However since we moved to a different lender it looks like the transfers have stopped.

I tried to call the flexible mortgage company but their number now goes to a fax line and I can't find any other contact number for them.

I also tried calling halifax and gave them the sort code and account number of the account I pay into, they say that nothing comes up though.

Has anyone heard of the flexible mortgage company? Does anyone know how I can go about tracking them down?

If you have moved to a different lender then the old arrangements would no longer be in place would they?

No I suppose not, however I'm having no luck tracking down the firm that manage the account, Halifax said it looked like one of their sort codes as it begins with an 11.

The payments have been going ok successfully so the account must exist somewhere at halifax, except when I call them they say it doesn't show on their system.

The mortgage firm are still trading but seem to have no internet precense, the numbers listed don't work anymore. I'm going to write them a letter as I have their address.

Is there a register of account numbers anywhere? or even sort codes so I can verify the details?
