Hi All
I am wanting to set the autoplay default for DVDs on my PC but the option I want to assign is missing from the list. I want DVDs to autoplay in Windows media centre but currently it only lets me choose from Windows Media Player or VLC.
Can anyone tell me how I get WMC (or any other option for that matter) included in the list?
I am running Win7 Home Premium on an Asus Eeebox 1501.
many thanks

Not sure what you mean. I know how to set auto-play options, the problem is the program I want to select is not one of the available options.
When i get the screen below and go to choose a default for 'DVD Movie' I want to select 'Windows Media Centre' but it's not in the list of options. I would like to know how I can get Windows Media Centre to be one of those options.0 -
Can you run Media Player? it might be corrupt0

" Windows 7 does not seem to include the Windows Media Center AutoPlay registry entries by default. However, you can add the necessary entries manually or export the keys from a Windows Vista PC (which is what I did). The AutoPlay entries are populated from this registry branch: "
He has a link for a registry fix
