indemnity insurance paperwork

Just a quick one, we completed on a house a couple of weeks ago. During the buying process it was necessary for the vendors to take out indemnity insurance against a couple of alterations to the property, i am just wondering if i should have a copy of the indemnity insurance paperwork, and would i be expected to have it by now, or will there be a load of paperwork to come from the solicitors?

Usually a buyer's solicitor will wait until his clients title has been registered at the Land Registry before he sends documentation to his client.
Because we have to wait for discharge documents from seller's mortgage lenders there is usually a delay before registration of longer than 2 weeks.RICHARD WEBSTER

Oooh, thanks for that - that had crossed my mind too. We had took out insurances as the buyer, but haven't recieved anything from the solicitor other than the bill for arranging them. I didn't know if I should have asked for them.
The policies would have successor rights, so I like a copy for my records so I can pass them on when we come to sell.

Thats great thanks, i thought it may take a little longer just wasn't sure if i would receive any paperwork.
