Unhappy with Wedding Photographer

Did you ever speak to Trading Standards?0

Have they processed the photos yet. Some photographers only photoshop the photos which you will be using and if you're looking at unprocessed photos there's going to be a huge difference in them and the processed ones. Did you purchase an album and if not would you consider that as a compensation for what you feel he's missed out on.0

We get 40 enlargements and a CD in the package. Unfortunately we were led to believe that we could print off from the CD but you can only print 6x4s apparently. They haven't processed the photos yet.
Trading Standards as I think I've said just pointed me in the direction of a complaint template letter on the Direct Gov website.
The photographer's defence is that they made up for it by staying late for our first dance which to be fair they did.0 -
Am i correct in thinking that you're unhappy with the photos but you didn't see any processed ones yet? It's really difficult to judge unprocessed photos and it may save time but i would never show unprocessed photos to a client.0

Sorry for being slow to reply. I just work a lot of ridiculous hours.
We've seen the photographs that they've uploaded to their website which they have said are processed but they can photoshop them further as required.
The photos they have taken of us are lovely. There is just almost no detail.
My wedding was so creative and original I had hoped to send to wedding magazines but that's blatantly not going to happen.
Apparently the CD which they led us to believe we could copy and print from is copyrighted and locked somehow so we can't print anything more than very low res 7 x 5s.0
