DO NOT Buy from TESCO

Kinda understandable, what is to stop your daughter/son buying the cd's, taking them home, copying them and returning them?! The security tag that is on the side of the cd. I dont frequent Tesco but when i bought fifa 11 that had an anti tamper seal on the opening. Don't buy cd's though

Its not understandable at all. Used to work for Tesco and it is their policy not to exchange or refund media. On the other side of the fence I now work for Asda and they will. Their reasoning is welcome to 2011 people do not buy cd's and take them home to copy them when they could quite easily do it from the comfort of their home on the internet...

I have never copied anything (mostly because I am useless on a computer ) but are you saying that you can get music for free?? If so, how? I am interested in Adele but don't want to buy a CD in case i only like the one famous track.

There is a way, to convert music videos on You Tube to MP3's and save them to your computer, my sister showed me. But as I am nearly 40 it was completely lost on me and I don't know how to do it now. :o

    I quite understand blue monkey.

If you can only listen via the computer and it's tinny little speakers then I am not interested anyway, having lavished ££££££s on a ritzy hi-fi system :)

But then you either burn them onto a disc and put them on your ritzy hi-fi system - or if it is a posh one, put it ona a key and plug it into your hi-fi system.

As I say, all over my head, I've heard people talking about but doing it.... I cannot even use my ipod properly. It's more than a little embarassing to be honest. I downloaded The Saturdays legitimately but have no idea how to put it on the ipod, says it is not in the right format. :o

The staff were just doing they're job OP, i dont think telling people to stop shopping at tesco will work as not everyone in the UK is a member of the forums so your message wont reach everyone.

OP can i suggest the son and daughter communicate to prvent anything like this from happening again.

Lol. I find this funny, and it's the staff's discretion...did you ask for an exchange? You probably would've got it, just not a refund!!
