Hi I am really needing to pass my driving test and also realy could do with getting away by myself for a short while so I thought why not do the 2 together ?

I have already passed my Theory part so just need a fast track to passing my practical test now.

I feel the holiday way to learn is ideal for me as I just dont get along with local lessons. Its nothing to do with nerves or bad instructors its another issue I have hard to explain.
Oh and one other thing my provisional lisence expires in November this year (2011) and I would really like to save money replacing it with a full lisence rather than renewing the provisional one :o yes I have had it that long now showing my age!

Can anyone help?

Thanks

:)

Somewhere in the UK that I can travel to alone easily.

Thinking about it though practicaly I dont exactly mind if someone comes with me on the holiday and stays in the same room as long as theres an option for them not to have to do the lessons obviously.

If you could let me know where exactly, I can locate an instructor

One option is to enter a postcode here

    http://finddrivinginstructor.direct.gov.uk/DSAFindNearestWebApp/findNearest.form?lang=en

Then look for instructors which have signed up to CPD, marked *

    For example Beaminster

    http://finddrivinginstructor.direct.gov.uk/DSAFindNearestWebApp/findNearest.form?postcode=DT8+3AY&d-447263-p=2

    An example hotel

    http://www.westdorset.com/site/where-to-stay/bridge-house-hotel-p1463

    The CPD scheme for ADIs

If an ADI has signed up to CPD, it means that they spend at least seven hours every year updating and refreshing their skills and knowledge.
    The ADI code of practice

If an ADI has signed up to the code of practice, it means that they agree to DSA's code which covers:
    • how well qualified they are
    • their personal conduct when they are training you
    • the professional conduct of their business
    • their advertising
    • how they deal with complaints

I've got news for you. Once your photo expires in November, you'll have to pay to renew it regardless of whether it's full or provisional. Upgrade from provisional to full is free, but only where the photo is kept the same.

do you have the correct address on your license as they notify you via post. It may also be because its a provisional license and when you finally pass they will make you change it then.

  • You would have to have a long holiday to get up to pass standard and pass the test. Would you be better looking for something more local to where you live the next town or something where you feel comfortable?
