cant get in to ebay.co.uk using IE

Options
Hi all,
seen this problem several times and the answer always seems quite straightforward usually to do with incorrect time settings.
I can view ebay.co.uk pages but when i come to sign in i get a, cannot access page, maybe dns error etc etc.

I can however log in to ebay.com using IE
i can login to ebay.co.uk using firefox.

The usual error seems to be that the time on my pc is incorrect. It isnt, ive checked and double checked - however i do seem to have problems connecting to some of the time servers.

Im at work currently, so not got all the info at my fingertips, but any advice greatfully received.

Have you tried deleting all cookies/cache ? Might be something that's been left behind on IE that is stopping you from being able to log in.

The same thing happened to me a couple of years ago. It was only resolved when I had a new router installed. Whether it was just coincidence I don't know.

Routers can sometimes be the problem, if they are having issues with data transfer. If you're confident enough, factory reset your router and give that a try, or just an alternative router if you have one.

It's definitely something with your setup though, as you rightly said it works with Firefox. TBH, I only use IE for things that don't work 100% in other browsers by design, that saying I don't use it very often!

totally flummoxed by this one, even though it seems to be quite a common occurance.
