Holiday Insurance

Just wanted some advise from the experts please!
We want to go on a family holiday next year, and want to get the right insurance cover, as the holiday will cost over £2k.
I am insuling dependant diabetic, and therefore need insurance that will cover this.
I have a quote from diabetes Uk Insurance of a years cover, for a family of 4 of £199. This covers cancellation, curtailment, luggage etc, and has a £50 excess.
Does this sound a reasonable amount to pay? I am not sure where else to look that takes into account pre-existing health problems.
Any advice much appreciated.

Given I work for an insurer it would be inappropriate to recommend or dis any companies but be careful when looking at pre-existing conditions. Whilst some insurers state they accept people with them what they actual mean is that they will insure the person but exclude any claim in relation to the existing condition where as others accept pre conditions including claims for them.All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
