Sold an item last night to a newbie. This person joined on the 8th june, and has 14 feedback for bought items. Now I go to the sales record and it says 'no longer a registered user' - what's going on there?!

sorry should add that the buyer paid immediately0

this happened to me a few years back. She paid straight away (about 30 feedbacks) then when I went to post I realised she was no longer resistered. I thought well shes paid Ill send it anyway. About a month later I received a chargeback from paypal. so had to refund the money and lost my item. Just a warning. you can protect yourself from chargebacks, get adequate proof of poatage etc but I stupidly didnt.Happy days

You can always refund if its a valuable item and you don't want to take the risk0

Thanks, it is not valuable £12.50 - so I should be covered with a POP.
I emailed her to let her know that I would be posting item today and did she know she was no longer registered and I got this reply:
"Yeah its just because im new or something and I've had high spending and selling activity just received the email. Just have to wait for my selling fees to clear and it will be sorted"
Not sure this can be right?!0 -
I'd refund the money personally. And tell her that she will be free to purchase it again when she is no longer no longer registered. If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

Good advice - apparently she has sold 4 high end phones for £380 each...
Too late for me though as I went to the P.O. earlier...
what's the worst that could happen?!0 -

Worst that can happen - you lose your £12.50 & cost of postage.0
