Presumably there are volunteers for prostate examinations too.

    Doubt it...

It would be somewhat awkward for a patient (who is probably scared they've got cancer) when the doctor says:

'Oooh that's good' and stains his trousers mid examination :o:rotfl::rotfl:
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o

You would need a 40k coordinator though.

My friend is in this team. She gets paid just over minimum wage to travel to houses of women who SIGN UP for the service and show them on a fake booby (in her case a very sweet looking pair of nitted titties) how to breast feed before and then help with any queries after birth. It's something a mid-wife would previously have done and they are now freed up to use their training in other areas and across more families.

    Please take note:
Low pay but it fits well into her schedule as she has 2 young kids
women sign up for the service - not bullied into and made to feel like they did something wrong

If this is a pointless job then surely GPs should stop treating erectile disfunction or smoking ceasation. After all, we all have a choice and neither are a necessity.

sickening. how can someone that contributes nothing to society command 46k???????? disgusting.

and what about all the real jobs lost at cow and gate and aptamil when everyone starts abandoning them??????

its a joke. sack them all now.

GP's shouldn't treat smoking ceasation. If people want to smoke, LET THEM. we know it is bad for them, but its up to them.

erectile disfunction is an illness. that should be treated.
