Got one today for my brother for Christmas, couldn't resit getting it out and having a play.... big mistake
Have just gone a reserved another one from me now...
The sound quality is really good, the clock is back lit so you will be able to see the time in the middle of the night (was a tad worried about that as if you can't see the clock in the night its useless!)
The build quality seems really good also, doesn't have a tacky plastic feel to it.
Haven't been able to play too much with it as it a present and so don't want to get it all out of its wrapping but I am really impressed with this. They are on eBay for 40 quid plus 13 quid postage.
Thanks again to the opening poster, great find!0 -
Thanks for the tip off ordered one Cheers0

Thanks
I got mine today and although it says it works with the Nano, it doesn't have an adaptive fitting for the socket where you stick your i-pod in on the radio alarm (sorry hard to explain). It has an adaptive fitting (well it has about 5 in all for different I-pods) for the old style nano, but my nano (most recent generation) purchased this month wouldn't fit in it.
However, this is NOT an issue, as there is a adaptive fitting for exactly this type of job that came in the box with your Nano (Apple obviously aware that many accessories not suited to new generation Nano)...which fits perfectly in the top of the radio alarm then your nano just sits in it. Even if you can't find that it's still not a prob, as your nano will still fit on the docking area, just not very securely and if it got knocked it would snap the docking fitting off...
Sorry if i've rambled, that was hard to get out!!!:o0 -

I bought this and only have a shuffle. It doesn't charge shuffles and it won't play shuffle ipods on the alarm either. Still worth it imo!0 -
Thanks OP needed a new clock radio and now i might use my ipod more too!
going to pick mine up tomorrow
