Veet Wax

Spent £15 on warm wax today. Having followed all the instructions on the tub, my poor husband is now very patchy and unimpressed.
However, had I been successful in my waxing, I can't see him being any more impressed...

Is that the microwave stuff?! I used it on my OH (lower back - no where else!!) and it worked really well!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Yeah, in a blue tub. We followed all the instructions, (hair length, wax thickness, direction of pull, area of wax etc) and it was poo. It did his bottom ok, but was completely pants on his chest, just left patches etc.0

I don't remember it being blue, more yellow. I think I used THIS one, which had re-usable linen strips with it.
OH wouldn't let me near the chest hair. He also though waxing was a breeze compared to the epilator!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

It brought tears to my eyes just reading this thread (and they're not through laughter).... :rotfl:“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
I once used the waxing strips they make. You're supposed to simply warm them in your hand and away you go.
All I ended up with was wax stuck all over my legs. Didn't remove a single hair.0 -

Was it the Back, Sack & Crack kit??
Think I'll give it a miss.0 -
There is no way I would let my wife anywhere near me with wax, not happening, never, no way, I hate pain especially my own. Why would you want to wax your hubby?0

Yes that was the worst bit! Luckily it came with some wipes that were supposed to remove any leftover residue - unfortunately they weren't designed to remove the entire strip of wax!
Worst invention ever.0
