If you've left it to the last second there's a great danger of overspending while you go on a reckless dash accross the High Street. The web loses its power right now to get you gifts in time, so what are the other options to give good gifts and easy shopping without breaking the bank?

I went to Asda today to get my food shopping in and managed to get my last few presents there too- lovely jewellery for my friends and a jumper for my dad - it's worth checking out the supermarkets when you do your food shopping and it did save me trailing all the way around the shopping centre...again!!:rolleyes:0

Also check out the opening and closing times of local shops. In a local retail park argos is staying open till 12pm when it usually closes at 8, so it will more than likely we quieter then.0

The large retail parks are good too. I went on saturday to the one near the Reebok Stadium, Bolton and it was fairly quiet and lots of various shops including thorntons, next, partyland, a bookshop to name a few.0

Photos are a good last minute thing, take your media card or disc into Boots and print off the individual pics, buy some frames and voila, nice gift especially for people you havent seen in a while or grandparents, aunties, uncles etc. I bought a pack of 6 self laminating postcard frames in Boots today for £1.26.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
