Ebay return postage

Hubby sold a jacket on ebay, and now the buyer says the colour looks different from the photo. I suspect it doesn't fit, or something.
He sent it to the EU without charging extra postage (which cost him another £3-odd) - without asking me first!
He's now told the buyer she can return the jacket for a refund.
Does he have to refund any postage? No mention has been made of what he'll pay. He just said if she returned it, he'd refund.
Thanks

No he doesn't have to refund the return postage but will have to refund the original postage that the buyer paid.
The colour is probably always going to look different on a flaming monitor, what's wrong with these people?0 -

Thanks. The funny thing is - it doesn't look different! It's a beige/cream colour, and the photo was a fairly accurate representation. You'd think if the colour was such an important feature, you'd ask for more photos or something. I suspect it's the wrong size.0 -

Don't forget that it might not look any different on your monitor, but could be vastly different on another one.0 -

Just what I was going to say.
I wouldn't buy anything online where the colour was all important. One person would call something beige another cream.0
