Nationwide Visa Debit Card

Hi I've just got a Visa Debit card from Nationwide (not a cashcard+) and I was wondering if it is online or offline, the number starts with 4543.

If it is offline does that mean I could go overdrawn at a chip&pin?

Cheers.

I can imagine the card will be offline so there is that risk you may slip overdrawn when using your debit card.

OK, thanks. Will have to be a little more careful then.

If anyone is 100% sure then please say so. :)

Im gonna say 100% its an offline card. Normally online cards are only issued on basic bank accounts.

However saying that either way you should always be vigilant when making card purchases anyway.

Strange thing is though, both work in Pay@pump machines and I would assume therefore on the train.
