Credit card payment showing on statement but not balance?

I have a credit card with Capital One with a £1000 limit, i paid £950 to the credit card last week, it's showing on my online statement as £950 credit, but the balance doesnt reflect this, it still says i owe £950 (i.e my current balance is £950 and amount of credit available £50) - i dont understand, if they have received the money and its showing on my statement as been credited, why is this the case?

If it's anything like my barclaycard, it'll show 'pending' transactions before they actually go on the card. It should right itself once your payment is applied.

Thanks for the reply, its not showing under "Pending" transactions its showing under "Current" transactions and says Payment type: CASH - Posted on: 20th June 2011 - Its showing on the current statement as a credit to the account but still the balance doesnt reflect this, kinda worries me as in the past whenever a payment has shown on the "Current" transactions (either out or in) its always reflected on the balance too.

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
