Information removed from websites?

Options
Ive had no end of problems with my phone line which resulted in my provider changing my number for me due to nusicance calls. Ive had this number well over 6 months now but lately have been getting increasing numbers of phonecalls for a hair dressers.

I have googled my own phone number and it appears to be listed on numerous websites (including Yell.com) but there seems to be no way of having this removed. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this?

If your number is listed in multiple places, I think you have little choice other than to change it again.

It's just not worth the trouble of trying to get multiple sources to update their data.

Either your number has been recycled or someone really doesn't like you!
