IVA not showing on credit file

I've been in an IVA since 2005 but I can not see this on my credit file (not sure where it should be either), I'm not on the insolvency register either which I should be with an IVA.

Can anyone tell me where on my credit file the IVA should show.

Also if its not showing on my credit file or the insolvency register does this mean i've not been in a IVA like I though.

Also i've just paid three outstanding balances off myself but me credit file shows that these balances were paid years earlier.

Im very confused and dont know who to ask

I know i should probably contact the debt company im with but im a bit reluctant to do so at the moment as if ive been misled i want to have as much information as possible

thanks for reading

Most IVAs are 5 years in the first instance, so yours should have finished, or be near completion, by now.

Do you have the original paperwork, or any recent letters regarding your IVA? If not, you could try asking the IVA company for the original agreement, and take it along to CAB. A debt adviser should be able to cast their eyes over it and tell you what sort of agreement you have? It's not unknown for IPs to lead clients to believe that they have an IVA, when they have a DMP.

An IVA should be showing up on the Insolvency Register, and that yours isn;t, is ringing alarm bells with me.

This is the one I would be more concerned about?

    Who is your IP?
