    If you've been there a few years ago you'll be surprised by the change. Rooms and food are much smarter, new owners have made a big difference.

    If you've never been then I'd describe it as a smart country hotel without the stuffiness.

    I suppose it depends what you're looking for, but I'd recommend it for a relaxing stay, and the restaurant is my local fave.
