    Hi Ronniesmummy,
Yes - these are legit! I took 15 black bags full of clothes, bedding and towels - altogether it was 70 odd kilos, and I got just under £35. (Bedding gets 20p per kilo, clothes get 50p per kilo).
    Every little helps!! :)

Do you know they do with the clothes? I'm interested because I have a lot of very old clothes to get rid of prior to a house move (e.g. clothes with holes, ripped, faded - the type of thing that would be rejected by a charity shop....) Are all of the fabrics recycled in some way?

i would never send clothes off in a bag anymore. I got caught out in May with clothes 4 cash. They sent a courier to pick up the bag and then they emailed and said they cant pay me.

they stole my clothes. I have never been paid. Probably took them to a car boot. Sad that they have to go round doing this to people.

They recycle the clothes and sell on the bits. It doesn't matter if they have holes or faded etc. They won't be worn by anyone :)

Also, try and take the bags to their depot if you can.

There is a long thread on this board somewhere about them ripping people off. I think the above poster lost a lot of money and clothes due to not meeting the nearly impossible to meet t's and c's. If I remember correctly, getting either the clothes back or any money out of them was impossible.
I'll have some cheese please, bob.

this is totally wrong, they are bought to be sold on to other countries, so need to be in good reasonable useable condition

We actually used to have a Cash 4 Clothes branch as a tenant - they are totally legit. And yes, the clothes will be worn again so they need to be in good nick :-)
