Google chrome - gmail

HI

I have just started using google chrome and when i click on an email address in a web page nothing happens, I want it to open up my email so i can send a message.
Do i need to install something?
Or edit settings?
I have search and can't find anything.

Looks like you need a mail to client running in Chrome.

Thank you for your help, i understand it now, i just need to need to find it so i can install it, the link on that page takes me to forums.

Do you know where i can find it to install please?

The Gmail notifier gives you a handy little pop up for incoming mail and can also set Gmail as your default for mailto: links.
