Hi
i want to change line from bt to post office they are giving free mobile calls over the weekends. My last bill from BT was 55 pounds for mobile calls only. The only problem is the Broadband which i'm in contract with BE.The be & post office are not sure if this will cause problem in broadband service .Has anyone had this sort of situation .

Open an a/c with www.18185.co.uk for cheaper mobile calls.
  • As far as I am aware there should be no problem changing the line provider.

However, BE ought to know :)

Thanks for reply. The BE knows that it works on post office but they are not sure when it comes to line transfer from BT to post officer .

The 18185is not cheaper if using landline on weekends to call uk mobiles,so PO tariff is the best option.

Should be no problem, I was with bt for line rental and o2 for broadband, I swapped to post office line rental although o2 was not sure if it was possible at the time, but went through with no probs:beer:

The Post Office simply re sell BT, so its the same exchange equipment and calls are routed in the same way as BT calls, the only difference is that the bill comes from the PO and is compiled from the PO's T&C's,

So the £55 mobile bill is solely made up of weekend mobile calls only.:D

The line is used by my elderly grandparents and they get confused with 18185 ,etc. They want the direct option. The most of long duration calls were made during the weekend itself. They were with Primus Penny 2 CPS mobile saver before but last year in oct they cancelled the primus cps and took bt anytime on their package.
