We need to book a room for 5 of us but family rooms state 4 only... would you....a) sneak DS (2) in or b) pay another £61 for a double room ?

If you are saying that your son is two, then providing he'll sleep in a cot, I'd be slightly economical with the truth about his age and book a single Premier Inn family room - from their T & Cs (point 6)

"Family rooms offer accommodation for two adults and up to two children aged 15 and under (and a child under 2 years in a cot), or a maximum of 2 adults.

A family room will consist of a King size bed (in most hotels), a sofabed and a pull out bed.

Premier Inn can provide cots at no extra charge"

Also some independent hotels have family rooms that sleep more than 4. Have a look on sites like laterooms.com

I would say he is just under 2 and squeeze him in a cot for the night, or just take an air bed and put him on that, or put him in your bed with you.

  • Never think of sneaking a person into a room. You can find hotels that would accommodate 5 persons.. :)
    Late in the room:beer:
