Is it good to pester estate agents?

I've recently been phoning up an estate agent about certain stuff and getting him to help process things (he's a bit passive in doing things and quite slow..) so wonder if this is good? I'm beginnng to wonder have i annoyed him or such? I just dont want to keep on phoning him up every 2-3 days..with him thinking "oh not…

absolutely - but in this case had her and I not communicated closely and worked together the sale would never have progressed - and we both have a vested interest in getting the sale through to exchange - so we have ensured that we are both up to speed with everything at all points, and she has been able to pressure the right person at the right time on my behalf.

It was however complicated, I have spoken once to the estate agents selling me the house I am buying to ask them to confirm with the sellers solicitors contracts had in fact been issued, they hadn't. I haven't called them since and they haven't called me, but it hasn't been necessary.
