integrated frost free freezer help please?

they asked me to find them an integrated frost free undercounter freezer (and fridge)
i didnt think this would be problematic, however, after looking and a couple of phone calls, they arent many around, and those that are, are more than double, to triple the price of a manual defrost:(
seems they are not very popular (due to ventilation needed to keep it frost free)
before i go back to my friends, can anyone advise me please? are they that bad? or worth the money?
