Going round to my parents for the weekend so free meals :T Had the last of the cornflakes today, lamb curry with rice for lunch & plan on snacking for the rest of the day.0 -

Low spend day as been away most of it. Had to get some bread for sandwiches tomorrow and popped into Sainsbury's yet again.
Loads of fruit and veg offers and that was after 9pm!!
Got a few;
2 packs of 5 oranges @ 24p each - 48p
2 packs of gala apples @ 19p each - 38p
2 packs of vivaldi potatoes @ 24p each - 48p

Too late for reduced bread and only £1.84 spent.
Might miss Lidl tomorrow unless I get there very early.
Dogs tomorrow night for free pie and peas and drink and snacking all day.
Hope Lip_Stick has had a great day and met Mickey, bet her little one loved it - the magic of Disney.

Hi all. Edwardia, Tesco have packs of 2 Gressingham duck legs for £3.15 a pack at the moment, thought that was a fair price.
Have been peeking in but not had time or energy to chime in for a few weeks, kids have been ill and I've had a lot of HMRC paperwork and rubbish to deal with. Hoping things will calm down and I can get back on track come Monday.
Odd day as Husband at hospital first thing and it has pee'd down so I've been stuck in with kids. Brekky was porridge and toast for kids and Husband, scrambled eggs and mushrooms for me. Lunch was hm mushroom and watercress soup for me, Samosas and salad for everyone else. I had sesame chicken with mushrooms, green peppers and mange tout for dinner, everyone else had veggie egg fried rice and a choc mousse made with silken tofu and Agave syrup.
Just nursing a lovely glass of shiraz and considering hitting the sofa and finding a movie to watch.. another rock and roll night on the Isle of Man ;-) Hope you all have a lovely weekend.0 -

OH liked the Waitrose frozen Brit beef and Cheddar quarterpounders and scored them at 7/10 whereas I thought them dry and would give them 4/10.0 -

£7.34 spent this morning so far, I'll have to add up the weeks spends later as might pop into Morries tonight.
Went to Lidl and forgot the bread flour, Morries do it for 60p, so might get a bag there. Hoping for cheap pies and bread again.
Just snacking, but having the chicken stir fry later and not going to the dogs - well I am personally, but we're not going socially!!
durham_mim - I missed the coupon thread initially, but I don't miss out on coupons!! It nice to share what's available here also, hopefully everyone trying to reduce their weekly/monthly budget can join the "game". I still think people don't think what's achievable actually is - if that makes sense??
brighteyes1987 - hope you get your rugby result, Wales can win every match for me though.
cherrypies - hope your "Rock and Roll night" went well. lol
BTW, the Tesco butter and Utterly Butterly coupon works - only got the UB today - 2 packs for 80p. No leaflets in store!!!
