Mine was 5- 5.30 on thursday and i was first as far as i knew. ..i wonder if staff get priority early vip slots?? Also i am interested in the codes someone earlier was talking about.

RANDOM my ar...!!! I have had a directory since it began and never have I had a VIP slot. I spend a fortune every season and to top it all I ordered a load of stuff two weeks ago only to be told tonight when chasing it up that although it was available it is now sold out.

I complained that I have never had a VIP slot only to be told its random - Next should wise up and use a different system and reward their long time customers!

Next couriers can order from Wednesday afternoon, so I would assume that Next staff can order their stuff beforehand too.

I had a slot last time but it was irrelevant - just keep your eyes open on here for the 3 digit code and you can order what you like using quick shop and get it at the sale price.

as i say last time i'd ordered all i wanted by the time my time slot came around

Thanks - I was just venting my fustration - I can only afford to buy Next mostly in the sale - I have four kids so i am grateful for the half price items.

I have been shopping with NEXT for years and always wondered why everything was sold out just as the lines opened at 6am on the 27/12.

My local NEXT (Torquay) is asking everyone who walks through the door whether they would like to work on 24th & 27th, you also get a 10% bonus, and your pick of the the sale items! I would seriously consider doing this, except, I'm at work anyway on 27th.
