Playing the Upto 56 interest rate game.

I am sorry for this - I am sure it has been answered a numerous times but i could not find any specific to my case.

My scenario

I recently received a cc statement balance of £738 with a mininum payment due by 14th July.

My Question

as of today and possilbly the 14th of July my balance would have increased to about £1000


Which balance do i pay off to qualify for the 56days interest free rate

is it the 738 or 1000 ?

Your other transactions are taking adavantage of "up to" 56 days interest free, so don't have to be paid for until your next statement.

.. as long as you paid off the previous month's statement balance in full as well (if there was one)
