Does anybody have a Degu?

I agree with Rummer - rats are rather easier to look after! dont need quite as much space and are trainable! they are also more affectionate and quieter!
The pair daughter had before the degues - the male was bolder and liked to explore the living room - but had a habit of pinching small items to hide in the cage - while the female for some reason would 'dance' to music! looked really cute and funny, she would stand on her hind legs and sort of 'bop' in time with the music! both were very tame and loved it when people handled them!
