Thanks to the Argos board, we were able to alert my sister in law to the existence of the remarkable Fuji S5600 digital camera offer (she snapped one up immediately). We then ordered a Lowepro camera bag from mymemory as her Christmas gift.
The Lowepro D-RES 40AW case arrived this morning from Jersey. Cost: £9.99p. Post & packing: nil -- mymemory isn't charging anything for sending out these cases. I know Lowepro is great quality but thought I'd inspect the case anyway: it's great. Super quality and a perfect size.
(Checking on eBay UK today, I see the D-RES 40AW is for sale at a "bargain price" from specialist photographic sellers, viz: £25 plus £5 P&P or £30 plus £2.50 P&P. Some bargain. . . when mymemory has charged only £9.99p all-in).
We've dealt with mymemory before and always found their service to be exactly as described and the value, pretty darn good. So I've now ordered a Lowepro D RES 40AW for myself (today's the last day for delivery by Christmas).
Can't recommend them too highly -- and this Lowepro deal is astonishing (not sure how long stocks will last though!)
