Black gloss paint suitable for hob pan supports?

Hello - hoping someone can help :)

The pan supports on my gas hob have become worn/slightly chipped in a few places and need touching up with paint to restore the black gloss finish. This is mostly along the tops of the pan supports where the pans sit.

I have searched the internet for ideas and am now totally confused - some websites say don't attempt using any kind of paint as nothing will withstand the heat but others recommend paint for engines??

Replacement pan supports are available if that's my only option but, having seen the prices  , I am really hoping there is a paint I could use - can anyone please advise if there is and, if so, where I could get it from?

Many thanks in advance -

Best Wishes
Saipan

I would try enamel stove paint, this is rated at 600 + degree heat so will easily exceed what the cooker can kick out.

    B&Q sell it amongst others.
