JL - match prices?

Hi.

I have just bought a very nice LG 26" TV from John Lewis.

I am very happy with the purchase and service that I received however after having a quick search on the net, I have found the exact model for £82 cheaper. This online store offers a 3yr warranty and is local so I do not have to factor delivery costs in.

If I explain this to John Lewis, what's the possibility of receiving a refund and how would I go about it?

I do not think JL match internet prices, but they do give a 5 year guarantee.

We do not price match with outlets which are not conventional shops, e.g. membership clubs, market stalls, duty free shops, mail order catalogues or the Internet. We do not match closing down sales as these are not trading as normal shops.

If you have purchased an item from one of our shops and then find the same item selling for less in any UK shop, we will refund the difference.
