Hi all.
I have recently purchased a new samsung clp325 colour laser printer. I bought the printer after reading many reviews. The problem is that I mostly print images and photos and the print quality seems very poor.
Has anyone else experienced the same?
Also can someone please recommend a tried and tested colour laser printer that's good for printing images or photos?
Thanks

Hi
I doubt you will find any laser printer that will print presentable quality photos, to do this you will need a decent quality inkjet printer and the quality will be far superior.

Print quality on lasers is very much dependent on paper; they're not (generally) suitable for printing photos on photo paper.
They will produce magazine-quality prints on the right paper, though; try to find some "presentation paper".I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0 -
As above its more to do with the paper you use for laser color printers, my HP colour laserjet does some excellent photo prints when used with glossy or slightly heavy paper, but cant reproduce it on standard paper.0

Thanks all for the quick replies.
I'm going try different paper and see how that goes. Failing that, then the printer is going back to the shop.
Thanks again.0 -
If you are going to try different paper, make sure it is proper laser printer stuff, if you use inkjet photo paper the coatings will come off in the fuser and could cause all sorts of problems.

Laser printers are very good at printing big blobs or colour, but not so good at doing tiny tiny dots that are required for photos. Proper paper will help a little, but ink jet is the way to go for photos.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0
