Just bought a HP 210 Netbook.
No instructions on how to make a recovery disk.
Do i need to make this if so how/where?
What is best way to make this? On USB stick or on my HD portable drive in a separate folder?

Is there not an option to create .iso images with HP Recovery Manager? You can put them on a USB drive or leave them on the Internal HDD. Then you can burn the images to disc at a later stage.
I don't know if it's possible, but it certainly was on on MSI.
HP state that you should have an external DVD drive, but you obviously don't have one. Page 76 onwards0 -
I think that HP also say that the recovery disc can only be done once so if yours is second hand (as mine was) you will have a problem. Apparently there is a workaround in that you can get it to do a clean install using the Recovery Manager on the hard drive and then it has no memory of a recovery disc having been made.I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
