Evening all
We are needing to do loads of work on our new house. New central heating, rewiring, kitchen, bathroom. For the kitchen we have found a local chap that makes his own, comes highly recommended and comes in at a good price. However, when it comes to bathrooms the plumbers we have spoken have typically said that we should buy the stuff we want from Howdens / Wickes and that they would install it. Surely there are better places - potentially online???
The style of shower that we like is this one:

However, even if you assume a 50% sale later in the summer this is still shed loads of money. Any top tips as to where to buy stuff? We just want good quality components - nothing particularly flash apart from a shower with no doors to move...
cheers

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Hi
you may want to have a look at the link below, it is really good quality and the price is the cheapest on the net for that particular enclosure. We sell the Twyford range of enclosures and i can assure you that they are really well constructed

The Wickes one will be less than half price in sale. Less 50 less 15% is common in Wickes sales. You are paying more for it because it is a curved tray though. It is a design touch that is nice but it costs you to have.
If you look at the cheaper ones on the above links you will find that they all have straight trays.0 -

I was just about to recommend that exact enclosure as I've just bought the Twyford Hyrd8 (although not the walk in one) and I'm extremely impressed with it.0
