There are many articles on moneysavingexpert on saving money in nearly everything. But I can't find anything about buying building materials for proper price and hiring proper builders (DIY is not an option I am afraid). Are there any blogs or articles etc about this?

All I know is a supplier for underground drainage that will beat any other person on the planet. I got an item that Buildbase wanted £75 for it and I got it from these peeps for £14.98. Result!
Travis Perkins will slash prices once you've opened a Trade Account. Just use a ficticious name (QQQ Builders) and as long as your real name and address match and you dont have any adverse credit, they will give you a 1k account limit. You must get the account before you get quotes from them.0 -
