LW have a (((hug))) S&S is more than enough. Quite often I don't even get that far - particularly this week. Don't worry about the case you have tomorrow. Take it slowly.

Got me some clove oil. How often can you use it? I'm not sure if it's even doing anything :o

    Love the smell though :D

Well I have achieved sweet f*** all so far today. Really CBA. Got to be up first thing tomorrow to go for diving medical (so I can go on holiday) then Dr's appt in the afternoon to see if the ultrasound showed anything. Want to go and hide in bed. Big Black Dog barking. Got a client VAT inspection next week - really need to prepare. Seem to have really lost it after ruining DR beef rib trim. Grrrrrr. Not really making sense am I?

  • Right, well that didn't quite go to plan - I went back to sleep!

Anyway, zipped out to get a new blank score book for music. £8! [But then if I thought how much printing each sheet out as needed would cost, or the cost of photocopying, scrunching them up in my gigbag and the generalised 'Ohmygoshwhere'smymusic!' moments, it's probably worth every penny.

Grabbed some tomato puree from the Turkish deli as I seem to remember hearing that it's going up in price, along with some fancy mangoes for 29p and a solitary lamb steak, which has been carefully dissected into little strips and marinated for dinner with rice and homemade yakitori sauce with some of the first crop of shallots from the garden :j The splats were rather impressed with the trimmings they had dropped on their heads and are currently squabbling over who gets the little bit of bone to gnaw on under the table.

Just popped outside to check on my first [STRIKE]courgette[/STRIKE] marrow. I am trying to get it to last until tomorrow, when I can do it with some bolognese/spicy tomatoes (when it's probably another 3 inches longer), but all this rain gets me worried it's going to get sluggified or rot.

    Anyway,

    WM x1
    TD x1

Cat nasties cleared off towel left on shower room floor.
Cat nasties tray emptied and currently soaking in cleaning stuff.

All gibble on floor picked up.
All rubbish on floor picked up.

Rubbish emptied and put out - I don't quite get the kitchen bin business. I don't want to keep old foodstuffs in my house for anything more than about 5 minutes, in case I end up with a binful of fishing bait _pale_ so stick it in a carrier bag and put it into the wheelie bin straight away. What's recyclable goes out there as well, and then the raw peelings, etc, go into the compost. But I emptied the bin by the front door where I chuck the junk mail and Minion deposits her junk food wrappers when she comes in.

    All of downstairs vacuumed.

I could do the DW in a minute, but I'll wait until after dinner, I think.

    *******

LW, don't worry so. In reality, you need a clean set of underwear & socks for each day there, top and bottoms, nightie, a jumper and a jacket of some kind, plus some soap and toothpaste/brush. That is all - and can be done more quickly than you realise. And can wait until after you have had a sleep - if it is going to nag at you not being done, then get your toiletries ready, your meds and your undies/socks/nightie.

That way you have done all but the clothes for the daytime - which can definitely be done tomorrow.

    In fact - there should be a special FlyWolf List prepared for you;
    LW's Special Holiday Flying List

    Wednesday

    Eat dinner
    Rest
Pack toiletries if it's bothering you
    Rest
Collect socks and undies and place in bottom of case
    Rest
Place nightie in top of case
    Rest
    Go to bed

    Thursday

    Eat breakfast
    Rest
Collect tops for holiday and place in case
    Rest
    Have lunch
Collect bottoms for holiday and place in case
    Rest
    Sort meds out
    Rest
    Have dinner
    Rest

Feel free to adjust if you must, everyone!
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

My HHC turned into an hr and i don't have much to show for it. I pulled the veg drawers out of the fridge so i could chuck any dodgy looking veg in the chilli and there was a pool of gungy, disgusting water underneath.:(. I used a whole roll of kitchen roll soaking it up. I've scrubbed the veg drawers and chucked out the too manky stuff, cleaned out the water and sprayed disinfectant and stardrops in the bottom of the fridge and now i need to go and scrub that too.

    As well as that i

Emptied food waste bin & gave that a good scrub as that was minging too
Emptied the thankfully non minging kitchen bin
Put a chilli on to cook although i've used hot chilli powder instead of the mild i usually use and was a bit heavy handed  Ds2 hates spicy food so he won't be impressed.

I'm going to carry on cleaning out the fridge and see what else i can get done while the chilli is cooking.
