I emailed them about the amazon points as I ordered the free book just before amazon left pigsback. They gave me 30 points as a goodwill gesture. Did this happen to anyone else? I just thought it was better than nothing.

Edit 2:- I just cancelled my membership (basic) and they have sent me an email for a free credit if I try them again, says I have to try the premium service tho. I think this is a good service and value for money if you were into the audio book thing.

Hmm, I'm guessing there's something in the small print which states you must keep your subscription to qualify for the points.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

The points are for signing up to the free trial, no need to continue if you don't like it. Others have had their points for the free trial, just had to chase them up.
