Could I improve how I'm saving/investing?

    Actually, I have seen the opposite so it works both ways. Women and girls whose bf say 'move in with me and let's fix up our dream home' which is in his name and they aren't married. They break up, he gets the house and all she put into it. she leaves with her clothes and personal items. Even joint things bought like sofas and the like- put on his CCard and he asked for half in cash so she can't prove she paid for things.

    So yeah, if you aren't married and are helping someone pay their mtg, you need a legal agreement of some kind, or better yet a share of the ownership. Or pay the amt a lodger would.

    It's more like a lodger agreement I pay a very reasonable amount that covers both rent and bills. It's like I said earlier if I didn't live here I'm be renting somewhere else and paying more anyway. I really don't see the problem. If I wasn't around then she's have a lodger and be charging them more.
