Receiving a refund from a Germany flower shop

Hi
I placed an online order for some flowers to be delivered on Friday 17th June with a German company (flowers are to be delivered within Germany)
They weren't delivered and I received no communication to say the flowers were going to be delivered late / on a different date.
I've emailed the company to ask they now cancel the order and refund me as the flowers needed to be there on Fri as the receipient is actually flying back to the UK on Wed and I wanted them to have them for the weekend.
The company have emailed me back to say sorry the order can't be cancelled and through the tracking number I can see they are due to be delivered on Monday.
Am I correct in thinking that I am covered by the Distance Selling Regulations and that as they have not kept their side of the contract in delivering the flowers on Friday, I am entitled to a refund?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

DSR's are UK consumer law, they only apply to the UK. You need to find someone who knows about German consumer law.0
