I want to give my granddaughter some money for her birthday and want to put it on a prepaid card, which would be the best card to get to do this on and also I want it to be a surprise can I give my address and change it after I have loaded on the money on and give it to her with her address on it.
It will be her first card and I think it is a good way for her to know how to used cards.;)

"Best" is fairly relative... depends on expected use. There's an article on this site about such: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cards/prepaid-cards
Always worth a look on the site first - there's a search box at the top of the main page :-)Friendly greeting!0 -
The cards within the article don't look too good. If she, yourself or family have an O2 mobile, PAYG or Post Pay, perhaps you can look at one of their offerings; Load & Go.
No charge for the card, no charge for topping up and no charge for spending. Only whilst abroad or buying in foreign currencies will they take a 2.75% commission from the exchange rate.
The ones in Martin's article seem to charge for all.0
