just come home from work. finished at 9pm stickering up the sale. i am so so knackered. back there in the morning to buy some bargains.

they have got some battery quad bikes which will be £25.00 in sale, superman costumes now £4.99 from £9.99.

sale included all xmas lines, decs, trees, lights, toys, wrap and cards. and some confectionery and books.
  • Looks as if I'm off to Wilkinsons in the morning. Spotted a Thomas desk in there yesterday and hope to get it half price! Its not for Christmas but for little boys birthday in March - like to plan early!!!!!! Also the message doesnt seem to have got through to Father Christmas that little boy wants a scooter for Christmas so maybe mommy will have to sort that one too.

Got the Thomas desk which was reduced to £25.00 plus lots of other stuff all 50% off - the only full priced xmas type things were crackers everything else was discounted. It was flying off the shelves though (this was the Chelmsley Wood branch).

Doodledoodle24 did you get them to price check the desk as there was no reduced sticker on the one I bought but an assistant said it was 50% off. They did have a princess type dressing table/desk (no good for a Thomas fan though) which was up by the furniture which could possibly also be reduced.
  • FYI

THe 'next' sale starts in Scotland on Boxing Day not the 27th as is commonly reported!
A banker is someone who lends you an umbrella when the sun is shining, and who asks for it back when it start to rain.

In my area ALL our stores are going into sale on Boxing day and always have:) Also, I am unsure as to where the correction is in regards to clothes going down?? I stated that loads of items are going down to 50% which is the case:) I never said all. Also, that I was unsure what dresses were going down to 50% / 70% so where do I stand corrected?

And some stock has also just got £5 or £10 off it which doesn't equate to 70 or 50 or 30 % off! But I thought that the MSE peeps on here would be more interested in the larger saving i.e %50 - %70 off. :)

Well I'll say thanks to both of you as I know you both work for Monsoon. I've already seen some sale items online (through my history) and i'm very disappointed as it's not as good as last xmas when everything went straight to 50% :)

Im after some baby clothes and girls dresses so if you can tell me if there's much going to 50% would appreciate it! thank you!
